The Chavurah’s Friday Shabbat services and other holiday celebrations offer a unique blend of tradition with a humanistic outlook. It is best described as liberal Judaism with a traditional feel. Services are in English with prayers recited in Hebrew. The joy of singing and the awareness of community characterize the special mood of the services.
Services tend to be held on alternate Fridays from September through June at 7:30 PM at the Stamford Jewish Community Center, 1035 Newfield Ave. in Stamford.
