“Our strength is that the Chavurah creates a marvelous sense of community.”
Rabbi Mark S. Golub is the founding rabbi of Chavurat Aytz Chayim. He is a dynamic and gifted teacher with the unusual ability to explain the genius of Jewish tradition and its unique values to the families of the Chavurah community. Ordained a Reform rabbi by the Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion, Mark reflects an eclectic approach to Judaism that blends the feel of Jewish tradition with a liberal philosophy.
Mark is also the president of JBS (Jewish Broadcasting Service) the first Jewish television network in America (Optimum Channel 138), for which Newsweek Magazine named him one of America’s most influential rabbis.
